Further Info For Those Going
We arrive next Friday, 20th February. Keys will be available for pick up after 4PM.
Rich will be on site from approx 2pm onwards.
A day walk is planned for Saturday, a shorter walk for Sunday and a free day Monday for those that remain.
Directions:
*From M1* Leave at junction 29, taking the A617 to Chesterfield, then follow signs for the A632 towards Matlock. Continue along the A632 for about 3 miles before taking a right-hand turn onto the B5057 towards Darley Dale (Darwin Forest is signed here too). After a further 1 mile you will see a sign for the Derbyshire Dales, Darwin Forest is found on the right-hand side 100 yards further on.
Address to holiday park is below. If you are using satnav please be aware that the Darwin Forest postcode will direct you to Sydnope Hall which is 1 mile beyond the park (to the south west).

Getting there:
It is obviously better if people lift share as much as possible.
This will be co-ordinated by Andy, please e-mail him stating the following -
*When you want to set off on Friday (ie if you are taking the day off or not)*Where you will be leaving from
*Whether you are staying Sunday night
*If so, whether you will stay for a walk on Monday and what time you want to return.
Andy will then try to put people together, or you can organise amongst yourselves if you prefer.
Food:
Food for breakfast and packed lunch will be provided (small additional cost each)
No formal dining plans for Friday night so you can either eat on the way down or eat in the on site restaurant
Saturday night I have booked for us all at the restaurant on site for 8pm
Sunday plans will be made amongst those remaining to eat in a local pub.

Walk is around 11-12 miles.
This is a walk over moors, along edges, by streams and via Hathersage.

There is a signed car park in Youlgreave (drive right through the village to get there). £2 honesty system.
Other points:
All bed linen is provided and towels for use in the holiday homes.
If you wish to go and use the swimming pool you will need to bring your own towels.
*You need to buy a card for electricity* from reception, please sort out amongst those in your hut
